Real estate professional and innovator with a passion for adventure and creativity - bringing Auckland’s hottest properties to life.
The bio.
After growing up in Dublin, I moved to New Zealand in 2010, exchanging rainy Ireland for Auckland’s sunny skies and setting down roots in the central-west suburbs. With over three years of real estate experience and a decade in events, I bring a strong foundation of client care, professionalism, and local expertise to each transaction. I’ve built my career on genuine connections and personalized service, priding myself on being a trusted advisor whether clients are buying their first home or selling a cherished property.
I’m known for my patient approach, in-depth market knowledge, and commitment to client satisfaction, leading to valued repeat business and referrals. My focus is on quality over quantity—each client receives my full attention, ensuring they feel valued and well-guided through every step.
On my days off, you’ll find me hiking New Zealand’s trails, crafting ceramics, or hunting for the best tacos in town!
Every property has a story—I’m here to bring it to life
What my clients say
If you need help buying a house, Daragh is your man. We had been looking for a while by ourselves and really found our search opened right up with him on-board. Glad to say we are now in a property and will be calling Daragh in the future should we need advice or help.
Matt & Esther Cheyne
"We met Daragh during the first viewing in our search for a new home in inner city Auckland. We weren’t familiar with working with a Buyers Agent, but quickly felt that Daragh was genuine and looking at the market from our perspective. Daragh took time to understand our needs. He compiled lists of suitable properties for us to view, sought our feedback and then organised time efficient and mostly private property viewings. This enabled us to view fewer properties in total and helped us to better understand what we really wanted much quicker than we would have if we’d been searching on our own. We highly recommended working with Daragh to find your next home”

Other work (for and with).
Bright Oak Developments
Bright Oak Developments was born out of my passion for giving homes—and the families within them—a fresh start. When I looked at the traditional construction industry, I saw how many older homes were simply discarded, wasting valuable resources and history. I knew there was a better way. By relocating and modernising these homes, I can help preserve character while meeting today’s standards. This work isn’t just about building houses; it’s about building sustainable futures, providing Kiwis with affordable, warm spaces that feel like home.
Turama Festival
I founded Tūrama Festival with an ambitious vision: to transform Auckland’s city streets into a vibrant hub for arts and performance. Right from the start, we set high goals, aiming to create a unique experience that would draw people in and spark exploration.
Our debut event brought around 40,000 attendees to Albert Park over three days. The response was electric, inspiring us to plan an even bigger 2020. But as we all know, Covid-19 had other plans. After two postponements and much deliberation, we made the hard decision to wait until the timing is right. Tūrama will return, though the exact date remains uncertain.
As Festival Director, I’m looking forward to the day we bring this dream back to life.
Noir Events
I founded Noir Events in 2017, driven by a desire to bring bold ideas to life. After years of contracting, I saw a gap for a service that could either integrate seamlessly into established events or create unique experiences from scratch. Noir became known for its adaptability and innovation, working with events like New Zealand Fashion Week and Splore, and creating public events like K’ Road’s First Thursdays. In 2019, we launched Tūrama, a multi-day arts festival.
Sadly, Covid-19 and the challenges of 2020 forced us to close Noir Events. But the creativity and collaboration it fostered continue to inspire everything I pursue today.
